Thank you again to Sara and Caleb Giguere who raised around $2,200 for the outdoor learning project! "Caleb and I are both passionate about getting kids outside, for many reasons. Fresh air is so important, and it’s a different stimulus than being in a classroom,” she said. “There are so many opportunities for learning, from plants and nature to weather patterns to moon cycles.” You can still donate to Caleb or Sara (click their names) thru the end of September or you can donate directly to Rotary Club of Falmouth Cape Cod. This year our project will continue to build out infrastructure, finish the nature trails, build out the island in the sky website, introduce our new teacher recognition incentive (stay tuned for our first teacher spotlight next week), and work with our new learning partner specialist, Carmela Mayeski. If you would like to get involved no matter how big or small, we would love to have you join us and lend your talents!
